On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, A Mori Bangla Bhasha returns as a heartfelt celebration of the Bengali language and its cultural soul.
Originally conceived and presented for years by the late eminent artist Pratik Chowdhury, this iconic programme continues in 2026 as a tribute to his legacy, carrying forward his vision of honouring Bangla bhasha through music, words, and collective expression. The event is curated in collaboration with Baisakhi Chowdhury, his wife and a respected artist.
Featuring an eminent lineup including Baisakhi Chowdhury, Kharaj Mukhopadhyay, Srikanto Acharya, Sreeradha Bandyopadhyay, Bratati Bandyopadhyay, Lopamudra Mitra, Jayati Chakraborty, Arna Seal, Shampa Kundu, Raghab Chattopadhyay, Snigdhadeb Sengupta, and Ambarish Bhattacharyya, with chorus performances by Naiyor, the evening brings together songs, recitations, and spoken word in tribute to Bangla bhasha.
